Systems Programming Analyst Job in Chennai at UPS

UPS is hiring for the role of Systems Programming Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serves as a subject matter expert for administration, maintenance, customization, and support of workforce automation tools to increase organizational efficiency.
• Utilizes basic templates and tools for activities and duties of low risk, minimal impact, low complexity, and scope.
• Provides support for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining identity management systems.
• Administers, operates, and maintains authentication systems and services - Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), ADFS Web Application Proxy (WAP).
• Administers Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, and others, as necessary.
• Provides Active Directory group policy support.
• Creates/modification/deletion of all Active Directory objects.
• Creates/modifies scripts and runs specific PowerShell commands and scripts to administer the Authentication platforms.
• Performs System Administrator functions on the identity platform by assisting in developing and delivering process improvements in alignment with business and technical requirements with continuous enhancement maturing the identity lifecycle capabilities.
• Escalates issues to Microsoft Premier support if needed by creating a ticket and managing it till remediation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline - Preferred
• Prior Knowledge of the Windows Operating System
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level authentication systems and services for a complex organization - Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), ADFS Web Application Proxy (WAP)
• Mid-level experience writing scripts and automation solutions to manage Active Directory and Entra ID
• Mid-level experience tracking and resolving incidents via ticket queue.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
