Oracle is hiring for the role of Systems Analyst I - IT!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Configure, monitor, administer, and maintain backup environment including servers, storage, VTL, network, and clients.
- Perform standard and test restores for files, folders, databases, and VMs.
- Conduct disaster recovery tests.
- Troubleshoot backup issues related to VMs, flat files, IBM DB2, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL databases.
- Monitor future application releases and train users on new features.
- Respond to user requests for support and log bugs against applications.
- Act as a reporting resource for internal users.
- Represent users in relevant meetings.
Requirements:
- Graduation degree in a technical field or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Backup Administrator is needed.
- Expert knowledge of Veeam, Avamar, Rubrik, and Avamar backup solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Unix OS administration.
- Basic knowledge of Bash, Shell, and/or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Oracle Applications is a plus.
