System Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Alstom

Alstom is hiring for the role of System Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Identifying the operability context of rolling stock to be developed
• Performing detailed analysis of source requirements (customer requirements, norms, laws) within the operability context
• HVAC and heat load calculations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders to address gaps in operability analysis
• Developing operational use case scenarios using methodologies like “Day In The Life-cycle Of The Train” (DITLOTT)
• Verifying operability analysis outcomes through various verification means, including modeling and simulation
• Providing Return on Experience (RoE) to improve standard solutions
• Supporting operability-related questions and delivering local trainings as needed

Requirements:

• M.Tech/B.Tech from a recognized university
• Experience or understanding of system engineering on large-scale projects
• Knowledge of railway operability aspects such as operational environment, infrastructure, and users
• Familiarity with requirements management tools like DOORS
• A background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modelling Language (SysML)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites and cultures
• Effective communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
