System Design Engineer Job in Pune at Siemens

Siemens is hiring for the role of System Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Handle global projects in Building Automation Systems (BAS) for assigned zones/regions/countries.
• Understand project requirements and based on that provide a complete controls engineering package for HVAC systems ensuring smooth project execution as per regional standards.
• Design engineering and quality checks for complex HVAC building control systems.
• Ensure standard QC checklist and processes are followed for self-engineering drawings and drawings done by peers and submitting high-quality design packages to Team Lead or Project Lead.
• Ensure flawless programming & on-time project delivery with utmost quality.
• Ensure project executions are on track and provide periodic updates on the status to the project owner/lead.
• Identify project risks and raise flags to the team leader in time.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.
• Work experience 3 to 7 years for Hardware/system Design in the domain of building technology (specifically for HVAC controls).
• Knowledge of BMS fundamentals & HVAC equipment like AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Water- and Air-Cooled Chillers, Boilers etc.
• Knowledge of BMS field devices and controllers.
• Efficient Ability to communicate confidently in English – written and spoken.
