System Administrator / Engineer Job at Upstox

Upstox is hiring for the role of System Administrator :

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of trading systems (Retail and Direct Exchange setups)
• Managing and supporting trading applications like NEAT, BOLT, CTCL/IBT, Omnesys, and exchange interfaces
• Exchange file management (NSE/BSE/MCX) and coordination with Omnesys vendor
• Performing exchange audits (System, CTCL, ALGO) and handling related documentation in coordination with compliance, RMS, and exchanges
• Managing both Unix and Windows-based servers; basic server configuration and system setupProactively addressing alerts and resolving production issues
• Supporting testing and implementation of trading software across devices (Web, Wireless, Applications)
• Vendor and stakeholder coordination for setup, procurement, and issue resolution

Requirements:

• 0–3 years of experience in a system support or trading infrastructure environment
• Familiar with Linux (Red Hat) and basic server management
• Comfortable working with trading platforms and tools (Omnesys, NEAT, BOLT, etc.)
• Experience with exchange coordination and trading audits
• Strong troubleshooting skills in network and software-related issues
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple projects
• Able to communicate effectively with vendors, exchange partners, and internal stakeholders
