Augnito is hiring for the role of System Administrator!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Onboarding & offboarding of Augnito employees, including registration and deregistration.
• Setting up laptops (IT assets) and sending them to new employees and old employees if they have system issues.
• Generating Augnito user reconciliation reports every month and cross-verifying with HR.
• Generating AWS IAM user reconciliation reports every month.
• Generating Jira Service management ticket reports every month.
• Generating Trend Micro Antivirus reports every month.
• Generating One Drive reports and O365 license reports every month.
• Maintaining laptop and other assets tracker (sending all the reports monthly).
• Generating Confluence active user list reports every month.
• Installing antivirus and configuring policies with all end users - Trend Micro.
• Configuring patch management tools with all end users and Linux systems - Atera.
• Analyzing phishing and spam email incidents.
• Handling and resolving Augnito user issues remotely and physically as and when required through the JIRA service desk.
• Setting up on-prem (Windows / Linux) systems, OS, and VM.
• Supporting on-prem applications along with the IT team wherever possible.
• Configuring daily and weekly reports with email notifications for AV and patch management tools.
• Performing weekly patch management activities, reviewing malware, web security violations, and application control on TrendMicro daily.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience 0-2 years as a fresher or Junior System Administrator or in a similar IT role, preferably in a startup environment
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems administration, and security best practices
• Added advantage but not mandatory if knowledge of managing cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
• Added advantage but not mandatory if cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including virtualization, storage, and networking
• Added advantage but not mandatory if knowledge on Linux server administration and shell scripting
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and VPN technologies
• Added advantage but not mandatory if Knowledge of database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and web server configuration (e.g., Nginx, Apache)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse complex systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
