Augnito is hiring for the role of System Administrator!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Onboard & Offboard Augnito employees, including registration and deregistration.
• Setting up laptops (IT assets) and sending them to new employees and old employees with system issues.
• Generate Augnito user reconciliation reports every month and cross-verify with HR.
• Generate AWS IAM user reconciliation reports every month.
• Generate Jira Service Management ticket reports every month.
• Handle Trend Micro antivirus reports every month.
• Create OneDrive and O365 license reports every month.
• Maintain laptop and other assets tracker (send all reports monthly).
• Generate Confluence active user list reports every month.
• Install antivirus and configure policies with all end users (Trend Micro).
• Configure patch management tools with all end users and Linux systems (Atera).
• Analyze phishing and spam email incidents.
• Handle and resolve Augnito users' issues remotely and physically as needed through the JIRA Service Desk.
• Set up on-prem (Windows/Linux) OS and VM.
• Provide on-prem application support with the IT team where possible.
• Configure daily and weekly email notifications for AV and patch management tools.
• Perform weekly patch management activities, and review malware, web security violations, and application control on Trend Micro daily.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (0-2 years) as a Junior System Administrator or in a similar IT role, preferably in a startup environment.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems administration, and security best practices.
• Advantageous (but not mandatory) knowledge of managing cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Advantageous (but not mandatory) knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Advantageous (but not mandatory) knowledge of Linux server administration and shell scripting.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and VPN technologies.
• Advantageous (but not mandatory) knowledge of database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and web server configuration (e.g., Nginx, Apache).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
