SW Engineer – Security Development Job in Bangalore at IBM

IBM is hiring for the role of SW Engineer – Security Development!

Responsibilities Of Candidate:

• Work with the Product Owner/Lead in understanding customer/project requirements, creating/implementing the design, and developing unit test scenarios to validate the solution/fixes.
• Analyze the issues, and defect reports by the test team using traces, debugging traces, and develop fixes or enhancements.
• Experience dealing with customers' problems, developing resolutions, and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues in the layers.
• Create and review documentation and processes regarding network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
• Participate in continuous and iterative software development cycles with an emphasis on code quality, supportability, scalability, performance, and document technical issues and solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 – 5 years in developing Security Products/Services related to RBAC, IAM, and Security and Auditing capabilities ( ACF2, RACF, Top Secret)
• Hands-on experience in Security standards and incorporating (NIST, PCI, HIPPA, FIPS,..etc) in SW development
• programming and debugging skills in C/C++ (REXX and Assembly would be advantageous)
• Extremely comfortable in Linux/Unix development environment – commands/shell, Libraries, and managing the development environment
• Ability to write/modify Shell Programs – Bash, KSH, CSH
• Experience working with install/Build scripts, Makefiles, and configuration
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
• Proven command over the English language, both written and verbal
