Sustainability Analyst Internship in Pune at Zycus

Zycus is hiring for the role of Sustainability Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serve as an analyst on Zycus Procurement Performance Applications like analyze, and Lighthouse (ESG Platform).
• Work with customers to gather requirements on Zycus applications like Spend analysis, and Lighthouse.
• Spend data & ESG enrichment or Configuring products in Dev, Staging/UAT, and Production environments and delivering software demonstrations.
• Provide a unique categorization (using Customer taxonomy or Zycus Taxonomy or standard taxonomy like UNSPSC) to customer's data (line items/commodities) or Handling and loading of metadata and master data
• Calculate and analyze the carbon footprints of customers using established methodologies, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
• Develop and maintain ESG reports in accordance with relevant standards and frameworks.
• Identify and map relevant emissions data, and carbon footprint calculations and work on reduction strategies with customers.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest carbon accounting standards and regulations.
• Work efficiently on database tools, Zycus products configuration / AI applications/ ETL configuration, MS-Excel, etc.
• Provide a strong technical understanding of our product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the Zycus Solution and how it may be configured to meet a customer’s business needs.

Requirements:

• Education: B.E degree or bachelors in Sustainability/Environmental Sciences 
• Experience Level: 1-2 years
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years of experience calculating carbon footprints using established methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to learn, execute, and excel. Multitask and work with priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
