About this Job
Elastic Co. is hiring for the role of Support Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Providing up-to-date shipment details to customers by milestone reporting.
- Making commercial documents like invoices, packing list, insurance, inspection certificates, and form 9, SDC for shipment s to Indian customers for export from USA on various payment terms.
- Tracking the shipments by following up with the offices in US & also by following up with the shipping companies.
- Assisting the customer in release of the cargo by liaison with the shipping lines, banks & clearing agents.
- Verifying the post shipment commercial documents prior the same are forwarded to the customers & their banks.
- Following up with customers for documents not retired from the bank/long stay containers.
- Updating MIS reports and IHC THC charges.
Requirements:
- A technical background in fields like; Information Technology, Network Engineering, Software Engineering etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- A "customer first" mindset
- You are a Team player; ability to work in a fast paced environment with a positive and adaptable approach
- Technical understanding of software products
- Knowledge of databases or search software technologies
