Provide technical support for diverse GCP environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and containerized applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Analyze logs and metrics to identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline infrastructure management and incident response.
Contribute to continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and cost management initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features and best practices, and share your knowledge through internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security specialists.
Document technical tasks and procedures to ensure consistent operation and knowledge transfer.
Proficiency in deploying and maintaining Cloud-based infrastructure services (GCP)
- Well-versed in service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, preferably within a support or production environment
In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud SQL, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataflow jobs, and Cloud Monitoring
Understanding of Linux system administration and scripting languages like Bash or Python
Experience with FastAPI Framework for backend API development in Python
Experience with CI/CD pipeline (preferably ADO CI/CD, GCP Cloud Build)
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform
Experience with typescript and angular framework for frontend code debugging
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Good hands-on experience in GCP preferably
- Familiarity with security best practices and incident response procedures in the cloud
- Certifications (GCP, Terraform) will be a plus
