Supply Chain Associate Job in Gurgaon at Maruti Suzuki India Limited

Maruti Suzuki India Limited is hiring for the role of Supply Chain Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Cost parts for the new model according to costing targets and sourcing timelines.
• Monitor development timelines and ensure alignment with New Model Trials planned at MSIL.
• Coordinate with different stakeholders within the company.
• Work on cost reduction through various activities such as VA-VE, yield improvement, inner parts localization, price negotiations, and other cost reduction ideas.
• Procure parts in OE for different trials, the initial mass production stage, and procurement for the initial phase of spare supplies.
• De-risk supply through alternate source introduction, localization, multiple plants & lines, etc.
• Perform MIS reporting activities, budget making, monitoring, and vendor capacity assessment.
• Support in resolving quality issues and controlling defects during development and mass production.
• Rationalize vendor layout based on Business Over Time.
• Ensure business continuity plan with existing vendor base by achieving comprehensive excellence at vendors.
• Track global semiconductor demand vs supply and anticipate future crises, taking countermeasures accordingly.
• Follow up strongly and track all activities related to production supply.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
  • BE / B-Tech with Minimum 60% marks
  • Branch: ECE, EEE, Electrical
• Good understanding and development know-how of various electrical-electronic components and Semiconductor usage in automotive
• Knowledge of Manufacturing process, plant functioning & logistics
• Data-driven approach- analyze and propose strategies
• Strategic thinker to analyze and propose short-term and long-term solutions
• Strong execution orientation and problem-solving approach
• Proficiency in using MS Office [MS Excel, Word, PPT etc.
• Thorough understanding of balance sheets and costing
