Supplier Quality Engineer Job in Pune at OPmobility

OPMobility is hiring for the role of Supplier Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop a supplier risk mitigation plan.
• Manages supplier to reach PPAP on-time together with the program buyers and the program Supplier Program Manager.
• Monitors APQP deliverables: Feasibility commitment, APQP planning, Measurement plans, Control plans,
• product & process FMEA, validation plans, acceptance reports, appearance approval reports, checking fixtures concepts, checking fixtures R&R studies.
• Analysis of first off-tool parts and start of Part history tracking at the supplier.
• Enforces a CONVERGENCE process on critical (safety) or significant characteristics (Function and Fit)
• Monitor mount-ability validation (build trials), with support of Plant Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Monitors packaging validation with support of Plant SQE.
• Agree with the Plant SQE for approval, the Production Control Plan to be used by the supplier.
• Leads Run@Rate at Supplier facility with support of SPM and SQE. Confirms capacity and capability and conducts a process audit if needed as part of risk mitigation plan.
• Submits PPAP status to SPM and Plant SQE. Report progress for each program and each supplier. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in B Tech / Polymer Engineering / Plastics Engineering.
• Strong interest in manufacturing, or procurement roles.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a team-oriented environment.
