Mace Group is hiring for the role of Supervisor - Civil!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on construction sites for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
• Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
• Assisting in managing and delivery of the project.
• Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyor and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Communicating with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project’s progress.
• Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Preparing reports as and when required.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification in civil engineering and be a member of a professional body
• Have experience as a civil supervisor including high-end private bungalows
