Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide expertise in the Record to Report (R2R) process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the General Ledger (GL) activities including journal entries reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all financial transactions.
• Provide training and support to team members on R2R processes and best practices.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of R2R policies and procedures.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to GL accounts and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Possess a strong understanding of Record to Report (R2R) processes and General Ledger (GL) activities.
• Have experience or knowledge in Merchandising Finance and Accounting.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Show proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Display effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
