Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the role of Structural Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Be a part of the offshore structural project management team on offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering & execution, FEED and detailed design projects.
• Primary involvement in a typical project includes:
  • Prepare structural material take-off & submission of GFO MTO for procurement.
  • Prepare documents for client submissions like MR, TBE, and NMR.
  • Review feed drawings and provide discrepancies based on current company standards. 
  • IDC review of engineering drawing & provide observation for ease of fabrication and offshore hookup. 
  • Coordination with procurement & logistic team for vendor offer, technical closure & on-time delivery of material.
  • Coordination with procurement, quality, and yard team to clear material. 
  • Coordination with respective team for fabrication, load-out, sea transportation, offshore installation and hookup & other stakeholders till completion of the project.
  • Preparation of offshore Hook-up job cards with offshore man-hours and hookup procedure.
  • Prepare schedule 
  • Prepare all the required data for a change order.
• Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties.
• Participate in inter-disciplines, project, client, and vendor meetings.
• Perform all Inter-discipline checks.
• Prepare scope of work, man-hours and material estimates for proposals.
• Groom young engineers and provide advice to peers in their field of expertise.
• Conduct meetings at regular intervals with team members to review progress and share the lessons learned & typical issues.
• Overall responsible for the man-hour & schedule monitoring and control and quality of the work produced.
• Organize and maintain project technical filing and archiving.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: B.TECH/B.E, Diploma
• Experience: 3 - 7 Years
• Good Written and verbal communication
• LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT SKILLS
• Knowledge about International Codes
