Submer is hiring for the role of Strategic Sales Manager!

Responsibility:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, engaging deeply to understand their strategic needs, challenges, and ambitions.
  • Translate complex requirements into tailored solution roadmaps that may include design validation, full-stack integration, or infrastructure optimization.
  • Drive meaningful conversations with C-level stakeholders, positioning Submer as a long-term innovation partner.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives focused on large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities that align with Submer’s value proposition around sustainable, scalable infrastructure.
  • Monitor industry trends, funding programs (e.g., PPP, MII, India AI Mission - backed AI and digital transformation initiatives), and regulatory developments to anticipate market shifts.
  • Partner closely with Solution Architects and internal teams (Design & Build, R&D, Marketing, Customer Support, AI Cloud) to co-develop proposals that deliver measurable business value.
  • Align regional initiatives with Submer’s global strategy, ensuring consistent execution and messaging.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and R&D teams based on customer and market needs.
  • Establish and nurture enduring relationships with customers, strategic partners, and ecosystem players.
  • Support customers beyond the sale to ensure long-term success and expand collaboration opportunities.
  • Represent Submer at key industry events, forums, and government initiatives to strengthen brand presence in India region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA or postgrad preferred).
  • Proven track record in consultative, strategic enterprise sales within the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries.
  • Deep understanding of data center ecosystems, including design, integration, sustainability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working on large-scale, high-impact enterprise projects (e.g., regional deployments, hyperscale data centers.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence C-level and senior enterprise decision makers.
  • Analytical and systems-thinking mindset with an ability to uncover opportunities through dialogue and data.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills across complex enterprise organizations.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
