Google is hiring for the role of Strategic Cloud Engineer- Data and Analytics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Interact with stakeholders to translate complex business and technical requirements into recommendations for scalable and cost-effective database solutions and advisory services.
• Engage with technical leads and partners to lead velocity data migration and modernization to Google Cloud Platform, using Google or third-party tools and services.
• Develop and implement data quality and governance procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
• Design, Migrate/Build and Operationalise data storage and processing infrastructure using Cloud native products.
• Take various project requirements organize them into goals and objectives, and create a work breakdown structure to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
• Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience with data processing software and data processing algorithms.
• Experience in working with/on data warehouses, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools, environments, and data structures.
• Experience with encryption techniques like symmetric, asymmetric, Hardware Security Modules, and envelop, and the ability to implement secure key storage using a Key Management System.
• Experience in Big Data, information retrieval, and data mining.
• Experience in building multi-tier, applications with modern technologies such as NoSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
