Storage Operations Analyst Job in Noida at Ameriprise Financial

Ameriprise Financial is hiring for the role of Storage Operations Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.
• Plan and execute data migration and backup strategies for NetApp storage and AWS.
• Have exposure to ServiceNow and JIRA, which would be desirable.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages promptly.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for the internal knowledge base.
• Perform moderately difficult and independent assignments in troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and problem resolution for one or more technologies.
• Implement and configure storage systems, including storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and cloud storage solutions.
• Actively collaborate with fellow team members and contractors/vendors on bridge calls to prevent or resolve incidents/problems expeditiously.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity, optimizing storage resources for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate and provide input in the continual refinement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure the highest possible performance and availability of technologies.
• Create, maintain, and update documentation, including troubleshooting guides, procedure/support manuals, and communication plans.
• Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity.
• Contribute towards the development of operational reporting, including daily health check reports, capacity/performance reports, and incident/problem reports.
• Work with application teams to determine the impact of application changes on the monitors configured for an application and determine if any changes or additions are required.
• Assist teams in identifying monitoring requirements and implementing the appropriate monitors to achieve the desired results.
• Use experience, expertise, and data analysis to collaborate with managers and team members in identifying corrective action to increase efficiency, improve performance, and meet or exceed targets.
• Have exposure to Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or any data manipulation tools, which is highly desirable.

Requirements:

• SAN Administration & Zoning
• Proficiency in managing PURE Storage: Hands-on experience. Certification will be an advantage.
• Hands-on Proficiency in AWS Storage Services, i.e. S3, FSXn, EFS, EBS
• Hands-on/Basic experience in managing Windows, and Linux systems.
• Professional experience in administration, configuration & operational support of Storage Platforms (NetApp, ECS etc.)
• Designing, implementing, and managing storage environment
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience
