GE Vernova is hiring for the role of Steam Turbine Mechanical Integrity Engineer!

Responsiblities of the candidate:

• Performing strength/dynamic analyses of steam turbine components
• Performing steam turbine rotor dynamic analyses
• Preparing calculation reports with strength and dynamic calculation results
• Working closely with the design team and provide design solutions based on strength/dynamic analysis results
• Preparing presentation materials and participation in Design Reviews
• Creating and presenting technical presentations for company customers

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Basic understanding of Steam turbine design
• Understanding of fundamentals of mechanical design including material properties, statics, strength of materials, living methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF) and creep
• Basic knowledge of strength and dynamic analyses of turbomachinery elements
• Basic knowledge of rotodynamic analyses of turbomachinery
• Knowledge of Ansys and finite element analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills and responsive skills
• Experience in strength analyses of turbomachinery elements
• Experience in dynamic analyses of turbomachinery rotating elements
• Experience in rotor dynamic analyses of turbomachinery
