State Head - Collections Job in Surat at Flexiloans

What you will work on:

• Drive state-level collection targets across all DPD buckets while reducing delinquency and NPA levels. 
• Improve portfolio health through effective recovery strategies, legal escalations, and high-value account interventions. 
• Monitor state-wide portfolio performance across buckets (0–30, 30–60, 60–90, 90+ DPD). 
• Analyze historical account data to identify high-risk and potential defaulter segments. 
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely recovery. 
• Drive reduction in delinquency ratios and improve roll-back rates. 
• Oversee processing of payments, settlements, and refunds as per company policies. 
• Optimize cost of collections by managing agencies, executive allocations, and productivity benchmarks. 
• Lead and develop the collections team to achieve performance, efficiency, and retention goals. 
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain high standards of customer resolution and governance. 

The ideal candidate:

• Strong strategic and operational expertise in collections and stressed asset management. 
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities. 
• Deep understanding of unsecured lending and recovery lifecycle. 
• Proven experience managing large portfolios across multiple geographies in India. 
• Extensive experience managing multiple agencies and legal recovery channels. 
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks governing collections and recoveries. 

Qualification and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Collections/Recoveries/NPA management with NBFCs, Fintechs or Banks. 
• Must have handled large-scale collections portfolios across state 
• Experience in handling unsecured BL, Credit Card or PL portfolio. 
• Strong exposure flow, hard bucket recovery and legal recovery processes. 
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.
