Staff SSD Product Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Micron Technology

Micron Technology is hiring for the role of Staff SSD Product Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for both product development and supporting high-volume manufacturing of SSD.
• Design and develop high-quality and cost-efficient SSD test strategies.
• Support for SSD failure analysis from the NPI to the HVM stage.
• Perform a manufacturing yield evaluation and data analysis.
• Perform electrical, hardware, and physical failure analysis and work with other departments to resolve SSD-related issues.
• Understand the system architecture to come up with new test screens to bring out the early life failures in the media.
• Work to improve the yield, quality, and reduction in test time in different stages of the program.
• Troubleshoot failures from customer returns and provide solutions to fix the problems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Relevant experience in the SSD industry will be an advantage
• Relevant experience with computer hardware and knowledge of storage interfaces such as SATA and NVME will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in NAND component testing and failure analysis will be an advantage
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, etc
