Staff Specialist - Front End Capacity Planner Job in Bengaluru at Infineon

Infineon is hiring for the role of Staff Specialist - Front End Capacity Planner!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The key responsibilities of a Front End Capacity planner are to ensure that we start wafers in the Fab as per the division allocation and as per the requirement of the planning team.
• The Front End Capacity planner works closely with the operations control group across different locations and also validates the bottlenecks modeled in the ERP tool.
• He/She would also be expected to regularly perform bottleneck analysis to understand the capacity loadings for long-term planning.
• To ensure that the Front-end bottlenecks are loaded to full capacity, wafer starts are done as per requirements and plan, negotiating for any capacity trades between divisions as and when required are key roles of FE CAP personnel.
• Another key role is to plan for wafer testing and support for ramping/new product capacity planning.
• Additionally, the FE CAP personnel is also expected to analyze the system plan to find any gaps or issues that would help improve the plan in the future.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be preferably from an engineering background with sound analytical skills.
• Work experience should be within 3-5 years with experience in manufacturing would be preferable.
• An experience or understanding of ERP tools (for ex: SAP, Oracle, i2and similar planning tools) is preferred. In addition to this, a good hold with Microsoft Office tools would be preferred.
• Candidate should also have good communication and presentation skills.
