Cision is hiring for the role of Staff Database Reliability Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve database provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance workflows. 
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas and applications that meet reliability and performance requirements 
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to meet RPO & RTO objectives 
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical database and related infrastructure issues 
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the R&D team 
  • Implement and manage high availability solutions for hybrid hosted database environments 

Requirements:
