Lenovo is hiring for the role of Staff BIOS Engineer (UEFI)!
Responsibilities of the candidate:
- Responsible for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature development and bug fixing.
- Working with the internal team to design new product features into the next generation.
- Working with internal team and end-customers to understand customer’s requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
- Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including processor and chipsets.
- 2+ years’ experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
- Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
- Good understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Strong C coding skills and experience.
- Good knowledge of industry standards, such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
- Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware issues.
- Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills in English.
