Pitney Bowes is hiring for the role of SSE Full Stack!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing web applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Expert in Java/J2EE 1.8 and REST services implementation
• Hands-on experience with Java, Springboot and Angular is a must
• Experience on AWS will be an added advantage with exposure to EC2, S3, EBS, and Lambda
• Some exposure to GitLab, Jira, and Confluence tools for Agile development & CI/CD
• Familiarity with MySQL and NoSQL databases preferably MongoDB
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Good to have competency in SQL optimization and efficient Joins
• Good to have knowledge of Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Nexus will be a plus
• Evaluate and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable
• Collaborate with and mentor members of the team and other coworkers
• Be agile and embrace change
