Sr. Executive (Purchase) Job in Mumbai at Godrej

Godrej is hiring for the role of Sr. Executive- Purchase!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand project requirements, Tender specifications, Approved vendor list, and Customer requirements. Receiving and Evaluating Quotations, Negotiation by using sourcing levers, covering business risk back-to-back while placing orders, On-time delivery, and Cross-functional coordination including corporate.
• Ensure achievement of savings w.r.t. budget as per plan using sourcing levers, commodity tracking, and innovative ways of working.
• Ensure meeting monthly billing targets by timely supply of material
• Ensure timely support to the project for erection/commissioning/services wherever applicable
• Maintain Purchase MIS & take decisions to meet business objectives/process improvement/putting controls/productivity improvement/kaizens, etc, Improving supplier's credit period for 90 days and above for Non-MSE suppliers.
• Set the process for procuring Quality material through close co-ordination with the quality department
• Ensure process compliance for all the process from indenting to payment to suppliers
• Add value to the processes after analyzing the current processes and benchmarking with outside industries
• Maintain MIS for Delivery Performance, Quality Performance, Pending indents for ordering, Pending Purchase Order, ITR, Pending advances, Indent to Order conversion, Average Credit Days, Spend Analysis, Monthly Savings with sourcing levers & projects- wise, New Vendor Development, Productivity, initiatives & Achievements
• Drive the culture of productivity improvement through innovative ideas or benchmarking information
• Ensure proper and full proof control in the processes (Purchase Order to Payment to Suppliers) as per the guidelines and authorization matrix

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• 2 years for Degree Holder-4 Years experience for Diploma Holder
• Skills: Knowledge of Info, Timely Procurement with an oriented approach, Internal Customer Centricity and Networking, Negotiation Skills & Material Cost Estimation,
