Sr. Executive- Logistics Job in Patna at Godrej

Godrej is hiring for the role of Sr. Executive- Logistics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Give inputs for the planning of freight & implementation of the plan as per the budget and continuously strive for cost reduction and operational efficiency
• Supervise incoming and outgoing stocks into the warehouse & ensuring visual inspection of stock received for damages
• Be responsible for maintaining complete records, Ln entries for stock inward
• Ensure proper storing as per stacking norms
• Screen the Challans and form Route for transportation
• Ensure requisition for vehicles accordingly and coordinating with transporters for the same
• Verify the Delivery address, and phone no. of individual customers and verify any commitments given to individual customers and dealers
• Ensure timely MIS relating to Logistics
• Guide team members for existing logistics processes to achieve operational excellence
• Coordinate & communicate with Dealers & division regarding dispatches
• Coordinate with Authorities in Check posts/State borders to sort out issues of truck hold-ups or other associated problems
• Maintain Service Levels through order to dispatch time, productivity improvement and effective implementation of technologies
• Organize engagement activities for employees as well as stakeholders at the warehouse location
• Ensure good housekeeping and adherence to safety norms in the warehouse

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering/Graduate in any discipline
• Post Graduate Qualification in Management
• 3 years of work experience for Graduate in any discipline with Post Graduate Qualification in Management OR4 years of work experience for Degree in Engineering ORS years of work experience Graduate in any discipline
