Godrej is hiring for the role of Sr Executive/Asst. Manager Material - Management!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Benchmark pricing for key aggregates with related industries. Identify and analyze gaps & draw up and implement an action plan for improvement
- Identify new Suppliers & develop strategic partnerships
- Streamline the system and procedures for the flow of supplies & effective inventory
- Work with the Supply Chain team on key issues such as price changes, debit issues, cost reductions, engineering changes, and key supplier meetings/activities
- Develop deep understanding of cost drivers
- Contribute to key business initiatives like Kaizens, Safety Business Excellence & IMS
- Benchmark sourcing practices with best-in-class as well as related industries and implement the same
- Create dashboards for easy monitoring and decision-making
- Shift the daily monotonous activities to RPAbot
Requirements:
- BE (MECH, AUTO, PROD)
- Preferred PG in Materials Management
- 3 years exposure to sourcing of castings/forgings/hydraulics
- Preferred Exposure to strategic sourcing in the Automobile Industry
- Skills: negotiation skills, communication skills, presentation skills, decision-making abilities, good knowledge of castings, forgings and hydraulics
