- Ensure lubrication, alignment, and calibration of sensors, motors, and drives as per maintenance schedule.
- Support maintenance shutdowns, equipment health checks, and spare part planning.
- Maintain equipment logs and assist in root cause analysis for breakdowns or operational faults.
3. Production Support & Inventory Management:
- Monitor coil stacking pattern, space utilization, and optimize bay allocation.
- Ensure synchronization of coil dispatch schedule with production and logistics teams.
- Reconcile coil data between ASRS, WRM production system, and SAP/ERP.
- Ensure proper segregation of coils based on grades, sizes, and customer specifications.
- Support inventory audits and ensure zero loss or misplacement of coils.
4. Safety, Quality & Compliance:
- Enforce all safety procedures for personnel working in and around ASRS systems.
- Ensure compliance with lockout-tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and safe working distance during coil handling.
- Maintain coil handling quality — avoid coil deformation, mix-up, or identification loss.
- Adhere to 5S, ISO, and TPM standards for housekeeping and documentation.
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
5. Process Improvement & System Optimization:
- Analyze system performance data and suggest improvements for faster cycle times and reduced downtime.
