Alfa Laval is hiring for the role of Sr. Engineer (Electrical) QA!

Responsibilities Of Candidate:

• Carry out the inspection of the Electrical Components received from Suppliers at RQA
• Ensure that the electrical components issues detected at the assembly shop are resolved
• Ensure that electrical operators on the shop floor get adequate knowledge and training on testing
• Support and Supervise the electrical operators on the shop floor for electrical assembly
• Coordinate for Claim handling of Electrical parts
• Inspection of Electrical components at Receipt QA during the GRR stage
• Ensure adequate test setup at RQA for electrical parts
• Enhance the electrical test setup at the final testing area
• Train and upgrade the knowledge of Electrical Operators
• Update electrical instructions based on inputs from R&D/Customers
• Troubleshoot the electrical issues on the shop floor
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions on defective components
• Maintain inspection and test records of electrical parts
• Conduct electrical assembly product audit on Decanters
• Ensure calibration/maintenance of electrical equipment
• Communicate Mfg about Inspection results
• Implement Design Changes related to electrical parts at the Supplier and on the shop floor
• Daily tracking of quality issues related to electrical parts
• Coordinate with E&S/CAT to get know-how of good practices for electrical testing
• Supervise and monitor the electrical operator’s activity
• Follow Heath, Safety, and Environment Guidelines
• Responsible for Testing of standard, and non-standard electrical panels and machine FAT with standard automation systems
• Coordinate with Sales Company order handler for electrical requirements of Customer.
• Ensuring that the electrical parts received from the supplier are inspected in RQA and handed over to assembly/stores
• Ensuring that the electrical setups at RQA and final testing are upgraded and maintained
• Support to Electrical Operators including guidance and product audit
• Electrical claims handling
• Support to Purchase dept for electrical parts development
• Ensuring that adequate corrective and preventive action is initiated to reduce the deviations from the supplier and shop floor
• Educating and training the electrical operators on the shop floor

Requirements:

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Electrical parts testing and inspection from engineering industries, and Automotive organizations
• Technical education or equivalent knowledge
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute
• Good Knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Instrumentation, and Electrical Motors Team handling of Supervisors
• Be open and communicative and cross-cultural awareness
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• You have good Cross-functional awareness.
