Pearson is hiring for the role of Sr. Developer,Salesforce!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serving as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of Salesforce Platform implementation.
• Serving as the Sr. Developer for Salesforce projects catering to Sales and Service Cloud.
• Designing and developing solutions primarily on the force.com platform.
• Conducting face-to-face meetings with Business Systems Analysts and lead functional requirement gathering sessions, which involve a review of existing systems configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs.
• Coordinating with business owners to identify functional and technical gaps, estimate work, architect system interfaces, and design custom solutions and programming.
• Being a point of contact for maintenance of existing components on the platform and helping resolve incidents and critical requests.

Requirements:

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions.
• Integrating Salesforce with other applications using web services and other technologies.
• Use of APIs, Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, and Visual Workflow to develop extensions to native functionality.
• Implementing platform end-to-end, including data conversion post-production support and troubleshooting.
• System administration, including user management, environment planning, and workflow, approval, and message configuration.
• Experience developing using SQL, JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, HTML, and XML.
• Advanced Administration experience in managing a global salesforce instance.
• Strong Salesforce functional experience with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and ExperienceCloud, BoTs, Enhanced BoTs.
