Sr. Android Developer Job in Kolkata at Ascentspark Software Private Limited

Ascentspark Software is looking for a native Android developer, experience 4-6 years. We are a custom web and mobile application development company based out of Kolkata, West Bengal.

Desired candidate profile is as follows

• Have the ability to work in an agile team environment and have passion for building high quality software.
• Has the ability to produce, and pays attention to, creating a great user experience and fluid UI
• Is keen on working with bleeding edge technology, and doing the necessary research
• Has strong knowledge of object oriented programming
• Has a good idea about performance tuning apps
• Has worked on integrating apps with REST based web services/data feed using JSON/XML
• Has worked with integrating oAuth with apps (e.g. social network based login)
• Has knowledge about integrating google analytics
• Knowledge of a version control system (like GIT or subversion) is a plus
• Having knowledge about design patterns and OOP Paradigms is a plus

Responsibilities and Duties

• Converting graphical UI into Android Layout
• Coding Android Apps
• Ensuring compatibility of app with various devices
• Solving bugs and issues with the app independently
• Making performance optimisations on the app to improve responsiveness and handle crashes

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Must be experienced Android developer with at least 3 apps in play store
• Must have at least Bachelor's degree, candidates with Computer Science background would be preferred
