InterContinental Hotels Group is hiring for the role of Sr. Analyst Accounts Payable!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Extracting the population data daily to form samples
- Selecting the samples of vouchers for each user so that the entire population is covered in QA
- Performing QA on each of the samples based on pre-defined QA criteria
- Working on a duplicate report daily to identify the possible duplicates
- Checking & notification for actual duplicates identified with clear comments supporting the decision for deletion of such vouchers from the system
- Sending daily QA reports to AP team leads
- Sending daily duplicate analysis to AP Specialty teams
- Maintaining monthly records for SLA reporting at month-ends
- Supporting all customer and business queries (Internal or external as the case may be)
- Maintaining SOX and Statutory compliance
- Supporting SOX and other Financial Audits
- Performing various QA Analysis & publish weekly & monthly QA reports
- B.Com or commerce background graduate preferred
- 18 months to 2 years of progressive work-related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency and understanding in one or more functions related to the position
- Experience in accounting
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (required)
- Familiarity with any E.R.P. system’s finance and accounting modules (Preferred)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate effectively to the needs and level of the user and audience
