Cognizant is hiring for the role of SQL/Oracle Database Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Engage with clients, create case studies, and ensure the technical feasibility of solutions.
• Analyze client needs, recommend solutions, gather requirements, and identify value-adds.
• Estimate project scope, participate in deployment activities, prepare reports, manage change requests, and interface with quality reviewers.
• Create high-level designs, guide developers, review code, participate in peer reviews, conduct root cause analysis, and develop knowledge documents.
• Create and review test cases, assist the testing team, and provide UAT and implementation support.
• Share improvement ideas, document best practices, and contribute to knowledge assets.
• Develop training materials, deliver product/module training, and mentor team members.
• Update knowledge assets and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
• Resolve team conflicts, support team building, provide administrative support, set goals, conduct performance appraisals, identify skill gaps, and mentor team members.

Requirements:

• Science/Engineering graduate
• Experience with Database and SQL
• Strong command on SQL and Oracle as a programming tool.
• Good knowledge of Facets Data Models. (for Oracle DBA)
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work with minimal guidance.
