Specialist Software Engineer - Java8+ with Springboot Internship in Bengaluru at Societe Generale

Societe Generale is hiring for the role of Specialist Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work independently on incidents, change and problem management
• Report project updates, risks and challenges to Leads/Management regularly
• Document, review and execute Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Contribute to preparing functional area status reports. Write and execute unit tests.
• Work on project topics related to streams with high-quality
• Understand the architecture and propose solutions
• Perform design and write technical specifications according to requirements
• Build code as per design and coding standards
• Ensure usage of best practices and reuse
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for delivery
• Adequate unit/module/integration test cases are written for the work product to be tested

Requirements:

• Strong experience in open-source strategy
• Back end: Node JS, servlets, spring boot, java and microservices
• Databases: NoSQL (MongoDB), Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Software factory: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira
• Development environment: Linux
• Hands experience in Java 8 and 17 angular 8 and 15 and jsp.
• Test-driven development with karma, Junit.
• Other: ElasticSearch, Nginx, kibana, and Docker are a plus

• Web front end: AngularJS (8 or 15), HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, JSP is a plus
