Innovaccer is hiring for the role of Specialist - Security!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarms, and emergency response systems.
• Manage multi-site coordination across India, the US, and the Middle East.
• Monitor security systems to detect and respond to breaches, driving continual improvement.
• Investigate physical security breaches and incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and enforce physical security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct security awareness training sessions to educate employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance across the organization.
• Manage relationships with security vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service.
• Oversee security personnel, including guards and monitoring staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and government regulations related to physical security.
• Prepare and present security reports to management, highlighting key metrics, incidents, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in physical security, preferably within an IT or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with industry best practices related to physical security (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Hands-on experience with FOB badging systems, CCTV, and vendor management in security operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train employees on security protocols.
• Ability to remain calm and act swiftly during emergencies.
• Certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are a plus.
