Henkel is hiring for the job role of Specialist Logistics!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Coordinate and facilitate the sourcing and management of raw material samples – from suppliers, Product Development, and/or plants - for testing in the Adhesives Service Center
• Closely work with cross-functional teams such as customer service, logistics, supply chain, PSRA, global trade, dangerous goods, and plant engineers to ensure compliance and smooth movement of materials
• Collaborate with forwarders/courier agents, shippers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of Raw Materials (RM)
• Raise Raw Materials sample orders, prepare documentation required for ordering Raw Materials, shipping, and release of shipment from customs
• Responsible for on-time goods receipt posting in the system and resolving queries related to payment, order closure, etc
• Maintain accurate records of Raw Materials inventory, usage, and replenishment needs
• Act as a core team member for regular stock/inventory audits and escalate availability and delivery issues with relevant teams and stakeholders
• Implement and sustain the organization’s safety, health, environment (SHE), quality, and 5S standards in the lab, and office area and contribute to the safe work environment
• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding raw material sourcing and inventory status

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics, or chemistry
• Additional certifications or training in procurement or supply chain management would be advantageous
• Strong communication skill in English and local language
• Hands-on experience in materials management, planning and procurement in any industry (chemical industry preferred)
• Strong organizational and co-ordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders, departments and global locations
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues related to raw materials sourcing and logistics
