Arcesium is hiring for the role of Specialist - Human Capital!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including organizing orientation sessions, collecting paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition.
    • Facilitate the background check process by serving as the liaison between candidates and our background check vendor, ensuring an efficient process for verifying candidate credentials.
    • Collaborate with managers to develop and maintain onboarding materials, including training guides and welcome kits.
    • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, recruiters, and managers, addressing any questions or concerns related to their onboarding experience in a timely manner.
    • Manage offboarding procedures, including processing necessary paperwork and coordinating with cross functional teams.
    • Support the implementation of new processes and programs aimed at streamlining the onboarding and offboarding experience.
  • Training:
    • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Assist with the training effectiveness evaluations and make recommendations for adjustments or improvements as needed.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the administration of the performance management process, including goal setting, and performance evaluations.
    • Compile and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Compile HC metrics and data related to retention, turnover, training, and performance.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR trends and key performance indicators.
    • Ensure data accuracy in the HRIS by maintaining and updating employment information upon request.

Requirements: 

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in a HC role, with exposure to onboarding, termination, training, performance management, or reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with distributed teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
