PwC is hiring for the role of Specialist!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Booking client payments by recording domestic as well as foreign payments against invoices by entering them into Oracle
• Receivie, depositing and updating cheques against invoices in Oracle
• Provide timely response to business teams to resolve queries & discrepancies
• Effective follow-ups with client facing team in order to reduce the unapplied & unidentified cash appearing in the books
• Conduct balance confirmation activity & preparing a tracker for the same
• Provide vendor registration forms for smooth transition of payments
• Follow up for WHT certificates from overseas clients & maintaining a tracker for the same and sharing the details and certificates with tax team when required
• Prepare of FIRC tracker to maintain details of foreign payments and its bank documents/certificates
• Follow up on delayed payments and collect payments by contacting clients referred by engagement teams
• Prepare and consolidation of weekly and monthly reports for collection follow ups done.
• Booking inter entity manual invoices
• Participate in month end closing

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate (B.com/ M.com/ MBA) with basic accounting skills and good communication skills
• Approximately 1-2 years of experience in a Shared Services environment having handled basic AR activities
• English language skills - Good written and verbal communication
• An ability to apply sound business judgement to individual and team assignments
• A positive attitude and approach, with a willingness to accept new challenges
• A reasonable thinker
• Should be committed towards delivering quality work, with a willingness to team with others, and help create a positive work environment
