Sourcing and Procurement Assistant Manager Job in Gurgaon at Genpact

Genpect is hiring for the role of Sourcing and Procurement Assistant Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead team & business in delivering as per agreed SLAs & quality parameters.
• Exposure to project management, strategic Souring, end-to-end procurement cycle, identification of opportunities in cost savings & delivering value delivery to customers.
• Assisting team members in providing sourcing support in terms of performing techno commercial comparison, drafting RFx documentation & validating supplier responses
• Ensure all team members are cross-trained & backed up for managing SLAs contractually agreed with stakeholders.
• Sharing regular feedback from category managers with the team, documenting the same for missed SLAs & poor service quality, etc.
• Ensure there are daily catch-ups within the team to reduce the count of queries & effective resolution of pending volumes.
• Collaborates across and within teams and builds strong relationships with external and internal customers to match the right solution to each customer’s needs – placing the customer at the heart of decisions
• Ensure that all queries are responded to & actioned by RCA.
• Regular monitoring of aged cases. In progress, cases should be actioned on time considering the aging period & pending invoice
• Implement improvement measures to improve the team's performance in terms of reduction of errors & quality of operations.

Requirements:

• Relevant years working in a multi-site Procurement role. BSFI, (Preferred)
• Good understanding of transformation initiatives in Procurement and spend optimization programs such as Zero-Based Budgeting
• Bachelor's university degree, master’s degree, Tier 1 Business Schools Preferred
• Working knowledge of Contract Clauses and contract management Preferred
• Working knowledge of strategic sourcing, Supplier Management, and Value Chain best practices/techniques (Required)
• Knowledge of buying/hedging commodity materials/ Running e-RFI/RFQ or auctions (Good to have)
• Category expertise in indirect sourcing
• Experience in the Australian market will be an added advantage
