Air Products is hiring for the role of Solutions Engineer - Software Development!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write high-quality SAP application code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, sustainability, and testability.
• Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems. Determine technical requirements of projects to ensure that client specifications are met.
• Participate as SAP application engineers through all phases of a project. Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. business stakeholders, functional stakeholders, product owners, project managers, SAP Basis, SAP Security, and end users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in the scope of work estimation and forecasting.
• Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
• Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
• Develop reusable SAP solution building blocks to enable faster delivery.
• Improve the performance of existing solutions by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, including technical specs, test results, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to established development practices and processes.
• Provide technical support for SAP applications, which include technical consultancy, incident support, and defect resolutions.

Requirements:

• Participate in the development of IT projects involving SAP applications by leveraging ABAP skills to develop solutions for projects
• 3+ years of Experience is a must
