Telus Digital is hiring for the role of Solution Engineer - II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working closely with the project management team in designing & implementing technical solutions for multiple projects and ensuring their efficacy and smooth data integration for various projects.
• Identifying and providing timely workarounds and solutions when possible for incoming technical issues in project execution.
• Articulating features and differentiating solutions offerings to audiences ranging from project managers to end clients.
• Helping in creating analytics dashboards for customers and the fulfilment team (PM & supply team) by writing queries (in SQL).
• Documenting the technology solutions in precise detail for reproducibility in the future.
• Mentoring juniors & reviewing their work.
• Interacting with clients to understand and assist them in the data-integration process, if needed.
• Driving operational efficiency by writing scripts & APIs (Python, JS) to automate day-to-day work.
• Working closely with the Software Engineering team to come up with efficient & optimal solutions for complex use cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science is preferred).
• Good understanding of data structures, system design, and REST APIs.
• 2-4 years of working experience in technically supporting various projects & clients.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries.
• Good communication skills with experience in presenting data-driven insights.
• A never-ending desire to grow and learn.
• Strong understanding of programming logic and software.
• Ability to figure out details with broad guiding principles.
• Systematic problem-solving skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity to improve processes actively and effectively.
