Siemens is hiring for the role of Software Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand the product functionality deeply and support UAT efforts for BA/Product owner
• Plan, created and manage the test cases and scenarios covering the product in all possible ways
• Execute the test cases as per release requirements in system, regression, and integration modes
• Identify opportunities to automate testing and initiate/lead POC efforts for automation tools
• Be able to script continuous improvements in areas not limited only to Testing in DevOps but span across deployment and continuous automation in DevOps
• Troubleshoot key issues, perform Root cause Analysis, and give continuous feedback to improve the product
• Prepare and present Quality reports and metrics to the team
• Be able to self-drive Test Management and Execution with minimal guidance
• Drive testing practices in a process-oriented structured approach

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality and Testing and sound fundamentals of IT testing
• Broad experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, API testing, Automated Testing, and Performance/Security Testing with thrust on Test Driven Development Strategies, Behavior-Driven Development Strategies
• Exposure to DevOps, Tooling and Automation, and participatory evidence is a great gain
• Critical and structured thinking with a problem-solving mindset, initiative taking attitude
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• B2 English is mandatory
