US Techdata is hiring for the role of Software Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and execute Software Test Plans for the Web and Smartphone [iPhone /Android/Windows Mobile] and deliver quality products in a timely manner.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Create / maintain databases of known test defects.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Follow standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
• Conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as usability, system, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

• Experience Required: More than a year
• Academic Qualification: Graduation in any discipline/ Diploma in Engineering
• More than a year of experience in testing, with exposure to automated testing.
• Experience working with Selenium.
• Experience in testing Smartphone Applications, a huge plus.
• Skilled at Testing Applications end-to-end.
• Experience of working in an agile environment is desirable.
• Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactively conduct research into emerging technologies and trends related to the web and mobile.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Good communication skills.
