Hero is hiring for the role of Software Requirement Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Organizes and leads the review process of software requirements.
• Implements the Requirements Plan (Metrics Concepts, Traceability Concept, Document Structure, Requirements Structure, etc.).
• Owns the software Requirements fully and acts as the first contact.
• Supports the software Architect in understanding the software requirements.
• Handles the software architect in tracing the requirements into Architecture.
• Supports the software Architect in implementing the software Requirements into Architecture.
• Manages the software Test team in writing software Test Cases & defining Validation Criteria.
• Supports the analysis of the change requests/defects from a requirements point of view and provides effort estimates.
• Pursues cost-saving ideas.
• Works with Engineering Program Management to provide feasibility and planning information.
• Oversees and supports life cycle engineering activities using defined processes and standards.
• Participates in internal and external technical reviews, as required.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
• Is aware of the Automotive-SPICE Standard.
• Develops according to Requirement management.
• Is able to develop CAN Simulation/dbc files from CAN Matrix, with knowledge in using Vector CAN tools (like CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA, etc.
• Performs SW Unit Testing and Validation Planning.
• Prepares concise documentation of ECU software tests that verify and validate the functionality.
• Prepares test cases through a test automation approach.
• Performs software testing using CAN simulation tools like CAPL.
• Creates comprehensive software and test requirements for components concerning the new generations of ICE / EV / HEV Systems.
• Interacts with the Software and Testing team.
• Creates software requirements for ECUs.
