Software Quality Analyst Job in Bengaluru at Oracle

Oracle is hiring for the role of Software Quality Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and/or automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Perform regression testing when issues are resolved.
• Recommend improvements to development and testing processes.
• Participate in review meetings and give feedback on design, functionality, and usability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, UAT, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Asana, Trello).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL queries to validate data).
• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
