Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develops and maintains test automation scripts within a squad.
• Adheres to engineering best practices.
• Applies agile principles to the way features are tested and validated.
• Engages in agile lifecycle ceremonies.
• Analyzes and resolves issues.
• Innovates with available test tools and seeks to improve the level of automation.
• Analyzes results from automated tests and interprets them into meaningful reports for stakeholders.
• Analyzes data from in-life devices to observe patterns of issues that could be detected with automated tests.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in test automation technologies.
• Awareness of TDD, test scripting, standard or bespoke hardware/software test automation tools, and agile test methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues and concepts to team members and product stakeholders.
• Ability to create maintainable code that adheres to good software theory, making it easy to modify, test, and function correctly (‘clean code’).
• Familiarity with automated testing concepts such as TDD, BDD, and CI.
• Strong team player mentality, understanding the bigger picture and prioritizing customer-impacting issues, while actively sharing knowledge.
• Focus on continuous improvement, demonstrating ability to learn new technologies and implement them effectively.
• Naturally inclined to question and challenge based on data, aiming to enhance understanding of third-party software operations and champion exceptional customer experiences
