Zycus is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Testing!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ideation, design, and development of innovative solutions for Zycus Products
• Software development for testing purposes
• Creation of an automation framework
• Execution of automation testing to enhance product quality
• Writing automated integration tests, API tests, and/or UI automation tests
• Crucial role in increasing efficiency and reliability of applications under test
• Replacement of manual repetitive tasks with automation

Requirements:

• Should have strong Programming Skills and an Automation mindset
• Should have a solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies
• Can code in at least one scripting or programming language (Java/JavaScript/ Typescript)
• Should be highly proficient at debugging issues
• Be familiar with API testing
• Should be able to write UI as well as API automated tests
• Should understand CI/CD concepts and Build pipelines
• Should know the services offered by cloud platform providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Should have strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
• Understand the architecture of web applications and the general client-server model
• Should be aware of basic Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Should be comfortable in working with teams using the Sprint/Scrum methodology of agile.
