London Stock Exchange Group is hiring for the role of Software Engineer - Team Lead!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of technologies and/or subjective matter expert knowledge of technology, advising others on design, development, and implementation.
• Supervise a team and coordinate the work of other team members, promoting an inclusive and open culture.
• Develop knowledge and expertise in software development and develop knowledge of other domains to understand linkages and dependencies.
• Build an understanding of strategy and culture, and how they impact your own work.
• Oversee the design work and planning for user stories ensuring they achieve the desired objectives.
• Contribute to the creation of solutions for Epics and the associated implementation tasks.
• Adapt existing patterns to develop robust solutions.
• Develop an understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how technology is a part of this.
• Execute the delivery of given tasks with some guidance and oversight.
• Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, grow own network, and collaborate with other teams. Communicates complex/technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format.

Requirements:

• Working experience and expertise in Microsoft.NET framework, Microsoft.NET (C#).
• Working experience and expertise in ASP.NET Services.
• Memory issues debugging and optimization.
• Performance profiling and optimization.
• Working experience in distributed web services.
• Scalability, durability, availability, caching, fault-tolerance.
• Is an expert in design patterns.
• Has working experience on Data-driven applications or using Data warehouse technologies – Snowflake and Addon.
• Has experience in writing code with test-driven development.
• Stakeholder and people management experience.
• Must have experience in leading/mentoring team(s) by providing a technical and application perspective throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Some experience of Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, delivery management, and/or Emerging Technology and Governance.
